CANVAS
Using products sourced through careful testing we feel we can offer you the best quality and service available.
Although we know ourselves that this is true we feel it is important to explain why. For instance;
TIMBER
The timber we stretch our canvas products on is top quality finger-jointed & laminated pine. This means that the timber doesn’t warp (thus stopping your picture lifting from the wall). Further to this, pine is one of the most sustainable timber resources. The unique profile of our timber (as illustrated below) also allows for more flexibility as it can be used either way round.
HANGERS
All our stretched canvases come complete with a hanger on the back. These hangers are designed to be easy to use with adjustable hanging width to allow easy offering up to the wall. They are also strong enough for even the largest of pictures.
FINISHING & PACKAGING
We feel we have a portfolio of machinery that can cope with the smallest to
the biggest of jobs.
Our Tensador air operated stretching machine enables us to work quicker whilst
still achieving top quality & consistent results. We use hand held stretching
pliers to ensure all corners are folded and fastened neatly. All corners are
glued using Cyanoacrylate glue as well as pinning thus making sure they will
stay rigid.
To ensure 100% satisfaction we tape around the back of our canvases using self adhesive kraft tape to prevent any threads of canvas being exposed. To present you with an unmarked finished product we apply a UV protecting spray varnish to all digital artwork. All canvases are wrapped in polythene film to make sure they stay safe on their way to their proposed destination.
FINE ART/WATERCOLOUR PRINTS
All our fine art and watercolour media artworks are mounted into acid-free artboard mounts for added protection in transit. These are professionally produced mounts suitable for you to use directly in your own choice of frame, or discarded for an alternative mount selection by yourselves should you so wish.
BLOKPICS FRAMING
Our stunning blokpic frame is an acrylic block window that is mounted into the face of a frosted white or black back panel. Your art print is manufactured to precise sizing, to maximise the effect of this framing system. These frames are simply stunning and are a contemporary way of presenting your chosen image in a truly innovative way!
We offer 3 Blokpic formats - 3x3 blocks, 4x4 blocks, 2x4 blocks, with either an 'white' or 'black' back panel colour.
